Overlays and Unit OrgFrom C4I (ABCS) • Requirement (31): • OneSAF will be able to load and integrate operations overlays and unit organization structures from ABCS systems. This includes loading for STARTEX and during simulation execution. • Capabilities Provided: • Modification of MSDL to allow for specification of Unit Organizations. • MCT Enhancements • MCT enabled to import modified MSDL. • MCT enabled to support Operations Overlays from C4I systems (ABCS C4I Messages) during STARTEX and run-time.
Target AcquisitionPhysical Modelling Requirement (231): • Request that acquisition model be verified to incorporate or expanded to include representation the following: ACQUIRE-Low Contrast, including ACQUIRE Targeting Task Performance Metric, Time Limited Search for Urban, and Discrimination of Human Intent modules. Capabilities Provided • ACQUIRE Physical Model Updates: • Support updated ACQUIRE-Low Contrast • Support ACQUIRE Targeting Task Performance (TTP).
IMINT/SIGINT SensorsPhysical Modelling Requirement (72b): • OneSAF will represent IMINT, SIGINT, MTI, SAR and RADAR sensors using AMSAA APEDs data. Representation will be robust enough to support the composition of ground, air and space platforms. Capabilities Provided • IMINT/SIGINT Sensors models will use AMSAA APEDS Data • Modify existing sensor models to use IR signatures. Data provided by AMSAA. • 4 new C4I message representations (USMTF)

COE Representation2/3 • Behavior Modeling • Hijacking: Respond to Offer of Capitulation • Behavior to enable Combined Effects IEDs Unconventional Forces Infiltration This behavior results in the movement of unconventional forces. This document is applicable only to the style of infiltration practiced by unconventional forces. The ability to move without immediate detection by enemies is assumed, for example by means of disguise. This movement is made by individuals in a fashion that reduces an observer’s ability to detect patterns. There are two levels of randomness. The most random approach provides for the ordered actor to “meander” from the start location to the final destination, optionally pausing at intermediate destinations. The less random approach uses specific routes to travel from start to final destination, but with some randomization of route choice and speed. For the less random mode intermediate destinations are not considered. Conventional Forces Infiltration This behavior moves one or more elements on one or more routes, either simultaneously or successively, and then occupy an assembly area. An ordered unit may be partitioned into smaller subordinate units to reduce the visual signature of its movement. Optionally, dismounted elements may move in a low contrast mode that limits their maximum speed, but increases the probability that they are not detected. Disperse randomly This behavior distributes actors randomly within a given area, or in proximity to a given point, as opposed to an occupation with consideration given to tactical formation or regimented position.
COE Representation2/3 Create Hole This behavior constructs holes in the walls, floors, ceilings, or roofs of buildings. There are two main use cases: • User-specified placement: the user specifies location and dimensions of the hole, or • Calculate placement for engagement: the user specifies an engagement area and a room within a building from which targets within the engagement area are to be attacked. Detonate IED This behavior enables detonation of a previously constructed improvised explosive device (IED). The different ways that this behavior is employed are distinguished by the type of signal used to detonate the IED. The type of trigger signal implies certain constraints that must be satisfied in order for the detonation to occur. The stimulus is either a human-supplied command to fire, or the occurrence of an event. Execution of this behavior assumes the IED has been created and emplaced. The different choices for trigger signal type are commanded electrical, commanded RF, commanded IR, time delay, time on target, proximity and mechanical. The constraints that may be implied by a particular trigger signal type are:
