  2. Imagine a program in which you want a list of colors in a ComboBox

  3. Do a search on “color names” or something similar

  4. Copy the table you find.

  5. Paste it into Excel.

  6. Delete first row. Delete second and third columns.

  7. Copy the remaining column.

  8. Paste into Notepad. Eliminate blank lines at bottom.

  9. Highlighting list reveals that there is a space after each name.

  10. Copy the character at the end of each line. Go to Edit/Replace… Use Crtl-v to place the character in the Find what textbox and nothing in Replace with. Click Replace All.

  11. Go to the Items property of the ComboBox and paste the list into the String Collection editor dialog box. Click OK.
