Northern System Expansion to Kern River • Additional 160,000 dth/d to Kern River • New Roberson Creek interconnect • Bi-directional tap to accommodate100,000 dth/d receipt into QPC • Contracts for 85,000 dth/d • Potential for additional 75,000 dth/d with processing
Northern System Tie Line 112 • Wasatch Front capacity of 52,000 dth/day is fully subscribed by QGC • Constructed 12-mile tie line from Overthrust to Main Line 48 • In-service October 2003 • Potential for future expansion
Overthrust Delivery to Kern’sPainter Lateral • Proposed new delivery from Overthrust Pipeline to Kern River at the Painter lateral • Initial capacity up to 150,000 dth/d (Kern takeaway) • Overthrust capable of an additional 200,000 to 400,000 dth/d to Kern • Open Season will follow
Southern System Expansion • Open season held • Capacity offered from Piceance area receipt points (east end) to delivery points west • Two options: • Low case - 72,000 Dth/d • High case - 102,000 Dth/d • Sufficient support to construct at least the low case
Southern System Project Design • Finalizing expansion design based on customer requests • Firm Transportation Agreements being completed • Anticipated in service 4Q 2005
Rifle to Kanda Pipeline • Proposed project to build pipeline from Rifle, Colorado to the Kanda Hub near Rock Springs, Wyoming • Pipeline size to be determined by customer request • Continuing discussions with potential customers • Depending on interest, pipeline may be constructed to points east of Kanda • Projected in service mid year, 2006
Kanda Hub Storage Project • Preliminary engineering underway to determine project capacity, cost and timing • Projected size ranging from 15 Bcf to 20 Bcf working gas • Anticipated interconnects with Questar Pipeline, Overthrust, CIG, WIC and Overland Trail • Open season anticipated 1Q 2004 • Projected in service 2007 - 08
Clay Basin December Averages • Average capacity at Clay Basin at the end of September (2003 is projected)
Summary • Questar Pipeline is focused on providing transportation and storage service that will improve market access for Rocky Mountain gas supply. Implementing solutions to meet customer needs continues to be our goal in a challenging environment. We look forward to working with our energy partners to find those solutions.
