  6. How much rain fall the tundra has The tundra is an unusually cold and dry climate. Precipitation totals 6-10 inches of rain a year, which includes melted snow. This is almost as little as the world's driest deserts.

  7. Carnivores in the tundra Polar bear: They usually live at the far northern edge, because they find almost all of their food in the Arctic Ocean. Wolves: travel in small families and attack caribou on the Arctic tundra that are too slow to stay with the pack Artic foxes: eat all sorts of meat including lemmings Arctic hares, and birds. Wolverines :are known to be ferocious and strong. but they can attack prey animals much larger than themselves. Snowy awl: hunts for and eats small rodents such as lemmings.
