What is the National Student Survey? • Annual survey of final year* undergraduates across the UK • Commissioned by the HigherEducation Funding Council for England • Fully supported by the National Union of Students • Conducted by Ipsos MORI • Quick and easy to complete * Some exceptions apply
How are the results used? • The NSS results are made available at Unistats.com to help prospective students make informed decisions of where and what to study • Institutions are provided with the anonymised data to help us identify areas where we are doing well, as well as areas for improvement, for the purpose of improving the student learning experience for future generations of students

Your opinion matters… to the Faculty of Computing • enhanced student enterprise: • Student Enterprise Workshop (SEW) series included a visit to Apple HQ (right); • 50 plus students, alumni, employers & staff attend every month • Record number of students on short work placements • obtained provisional agreement for IET accreditation of our engineering and networking degrees • Started regular Maths Clinics to support students using staff teaching on FoC Maths modules
