  2. The biography Was born in Somjure in 1883 though asserted that was born in 1893 in Overni. Mother has died, when Gabriel was twelve years, after it with four brothers and sisters the father has left; children Chanel were then on care of relatives and have spent some time in a shelter. In 18 years Gabriel it was arranged with the seller in clothing store, and at leisure sang in cabaret. Favourite songs of the girl were «KoKoRiKo» and «Qui qua vu Coco», for what and have nicknamed it — Koko. Gabriel hasn't succeeded in quality of the singer, however during one of its performances officer EtenBalzan (Etienne Balsan) has been fascinated by it. It has moved to live to it to Paris, but is soon cunning to English industrialist Arthur Kapelju (Arthur Capel). After communications with generous rich men she was able open shop in Paris in 1910, selling ladies' hats, and within a year the fashion house has moved on street Kambon, 31 where is to this day, just opposite to hotel "Rits".

  4. Spirits In 1921 there were well-known spirits «Chanel № 5». Their authorship, however, belongs to Russian perfumer-emigrant Ernest Bo. To Chanel a perfume for women didn't possess difficult smells. It were monoaromas. Chanel has acted as the innovator, having offered women the first synthesized perfume which is not repeating a smell of any one flower. Coco Chanel also popularized a small black dress which it was possible to carry during the day and evenings how it is added by accessories. In 1926 the American magazine Vogue has equated on universality and popularity «a small black dress» to car "Ford".

  5. Interval Despite tremendous success of models of Chanel, in 1939 Koko has closed all boutiques and fashion house because the Second World War has begun. Many couturiers have left the country, but Koko remained in Paris. In the autumn of 1940, staying in a condition of an absolute divergence and as consequence in almost dark oblivion, Gabriel meets the person who becomes its beloved the next years. In June 1940 its nephew Andre the Oriental carpet has been taken prisoner by Germans. In attempt to return the nephew from bondage, Koko has addressed to German diplomat Hans Gjunteru a background of Dinklage with which for a long time it was familiar. He was born in Hanover in 1896. Its mother was the Englishwoman, it has got fine education and equally excellent talked in English and French languages. Friends have nicknamed its "Shpatts" that on German "sparrow" means, for that ease from which it flitted on life and flew in hearts of the most beautiful women.

  6. Returning in the fashion world In 1954 71-year-old Gabriel has returned to the world of a fashion and has presented the new collection. However she has achieved former glory and respect only after three seasons. Коко has improved the classical models and as a result the richest and well-known women became regular customers of its displays. The suit «from Chanel» became a symbol of the status of new generation: made of a tweed, with a narrow skirt, a jacket without a collar, sheathed by a band, golden buttons and unprofitable pockets. Also Koko has presented again ladies' handbags, jewels and footwear which made subsequently stunning success. On January, 10th, 1971 at the age of 87 years great Gabriel has died from heart attack in hotel Rits; it is buried in Lausanne in Switzerland in a tomb, on the top which part of a gravestone five lions are represented. Since 1983 Karl Lagerfeld has accepted a management of Chanel fashion house and became its main designer

Theinterestingfacts In honor of the 125 anniversary from the date of Coco Chanel birth head of Fashionable house Chanel Karl Lagerfeld has presented unique design of an anniversary coin face value to 5 euros with the image of a legend of a world fashion. The gold coin (circulation of 99 pieces) is estimated in 5900 euros, and one of 11000 silver coins can be got for 45 euros.
