PANDAS By Todd Stein
Introduction Hey do you know who I am? I’m a panda but don’t crawl away stay here and listen to me tell you a little bit about myself.
Classification The first thing I want to talk about is why I’m classified as a mammal. I am always a mammal which makes me warm blooded. I have fur as a body covering. I also give live birth.
Adaptations Before lunch break let me tell you about my adaptations. I usually get my food from my territory but one day I might eat from a peace of land that’s the size of a soccer field. The way I get my food is by my claws I use them to climb trees.
Food Chew, gulp, burp! Do you want to know what I eat. Well listen to the next thing about me. Just so you know I’m very picky about what I eat, I eat. . . Mushrooms, mice, roots, flowers, honey, and my favorite food bamboo.
Life Cycle Now let me tell you how I was born. My mother and my father did something did something called “mating” (may-ting) it happens March through May which is 2 months then my mom was pregnant (preg-nunt) she was pregnant for 6 or 5 months. When I was a new born panda I was as small and as white as a chipmunk.
Conclusion Yawn, yawn! Every things covered. Now don’t you think? And do you think I’m the most interesting animal? That’s all about me the panda.
