Your Author P.P. Project - Writing classes • create a minimum of 10 slides PLUS a “TITLE” slide and a “Works Cited”(Bibliography) slide • research information on your chosen topic. Put it together as if it is to be the only study guide you would have for a test on that topic – CITE every reference you find – whether a book or a website – CITE IT! • have fun – create attractive, slides that will impress the viewer
Writing Classes – refer to the link for you class for specifics • add music or sound to your slides • Add a video – use either Animoto or Bubbleply to enhance your video - save it in my account on the website (account user name and password inc. In your handout). • ▶Be sure to put a link to it in your slide. • write a speech – write down what you will say for each slide, for your presentation – change it up – you do not want to read from the slide, as I am ☺! • sign up on the Sign up sheet on the bulletin board, for the day of your presentation – refer to website for due dates.
Your AUTHOR P.P. Project – Writing classes • check the checklist provided in your package! • As you are creating this Power Point presentation SAVE IT in as many ways as you can think of (for insurance/back up): i.e.; save it your lap top, your USB key, my (Ms. Loken’s) USB key, a c.d.; e-mail it to yourself. Always use at least two methods, not just one! • On or before the due date-mail a copy of your presentation to me or get it on my USB key – Ms. Loken at cloken@shaw.ca
