Summer School Guidelines for ReadAboutAll teachers in grades 3-5 should have access to SAM.http//10.200.4.27:55880/slms-static/slms/SAM.html (If not check with your campus tech for login information.) ReadAbout should be installed on all student computers.*All students in grades 3-5 should have an EOY SRI lexile score. (Student Yearly Progress Report). Use the end of year SRI score from students’ folders.*Recommended approach for implementation is the classroom model. (see attached example)

(optional) • Skills Grouping Intervention Report (see handout in packet) Optional: correlate with TEKS based instruction (see ARDI Guide for additional differentiated instruction on comprehension lessons and vocabulary routines) • Skills Progress Report (required) *see handout in packet (Use for weekly reading intervention grades with grading correlation chart) NOTE: Bilingual teachers will use the Spanish grading correlation chart (Will go home with students weekly) • Final summer school report: SRI Student Yearly Progress Report (required) place in summer school folder (see handout in packet)
