  3. Started writing at age 9! • He found an old typewriter in the attic and started typing joke books and stories. • In school he was not a great student he got mainly B’s. • He married Jane in 1969. • He started writing scary stories in 1989 when he created the Fear Street series.

  4. Over 300 million books sold! • Including the series of: • Rotten School • Goosebumps • Fear Street • Mostly Ghostly • The Nightmare Room
