  2. A Joyful Attitude We will experience trials I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."John 16:33

  3. A Joyful Attitude They will be various Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,2 Tim. 3:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.1 Peter 4:12

  4. A Joyful Attitude Evaluate in view of what God is doing for us! “…who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

  5. A Joyful Attitude The mature response is JOY “More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,”Romans 5:3

  6. An Understanding Mind • Trials test our faith. • Such testing works for us, not against us. • Tested faith produces endurance. • “the ability to exhibit steadfastness and constancy in the face of the most formidable difficulty.”

  8. A Surrendered Will • Let endurance do it’s work • Perfect = full-grown • Complete = wholeness

  9. A Believing Heart • Ask of God • Gives generously and without reproach • Ask in faith, no doubt

  10. Can You Endure Trials With… • A Joyful Attitude? • An Understanding Mind? • A Surrendered Will? • A Believing Heart?
