Orthographic Projection Projection Plane is parallel to the face of the object to generate Orthographic Views. Top, Front and Right Side views are generated from 3D pictorial.
Isometric Projection Object is rotated such that a portion of the top, front and right side can be viewed on the frontal projection plane. Drawing is not true size nor true shape. The receding axes are parallel for Isometric Pictorials.

Oblique Projection Look at Me! I’m True Size! The object is orientated such that the front view projects orthographically to the frontal projection plane. The front view of the oblique pictorial is true size and true shape.
Various positions of the receding axis for Oblique Pictorials Note the various positions of the receding axis and how they can be used to depict certain features of an object on the top, sides or bottom of the object. The angle for the receding axis is typically 30, 45 or 60. It is always a good idea to show circular features in the frontal projection plane so they will be true size and true shape!
Perspective Projection Perspective Views are used by Architects to depict objects as if seen by the naked eye. Notice that the receding axes are not parallel and will converge to a vanishing point.
