Complete Guide to Metabolomics Analysis

Metabolomics is a field of scientific study that analyses the chemical processes of cell metabolism. It studies the complete set of metabolites contained in an organism as a part of the cellular processes. The metabolites themselves are the end products of cellular processes. 1. IROA for Metabolomics Analysis

  2. IROA and Metabolomics Analysis Tools Metabolomics is a field of scientific study that analyses the chemical processes of cell metabolism. It studies the complete set of metabolites contained in an organism as a part of the cellular processes. The metabolites themselves are the end products of cellular processes.

  3. How are the unique IROA labels made and how are they used? Compounds are randomly and universally labeled and the relative abundances of the isotopes of carbon are altered; enriched in one particular isotope and depleted in its other isotopic form. For example, 95% U-13C6-Glucose is not actually 95% 13C6 and 5% 12C6. Instead each carbon atom position (1,2,3,4,5,6) has a 95% chance of being 13C labeled and a 5% chance of being 12C.

  4. ClusterFinder Software The IROA ClusterFinder™ software tool characterizes peaks (as either artifacts, control or experimental compounds), removes artifacts, performs peak correlation analysis to associate adducts with their fragments,

  5. Why Use Labeled Yeast Extract as an Internal Standard? Yeast extract contains many different key primary metabolites including amino acids and derivatives, carbohydrates, vitamins, nucleotide/nucleosides, coenzymes, organic acids and derivatives, lipid-like molecules, polyamines and peptides.
