First:Innocent family and friends of criminals must also go through hell in the time leading upto and during the execution.
Second:There is no such thing asa humane method of putting a person to death irrespective of what the state may claim. How would you feel knowing that you were going to die tomorrow morning at 8.00 a.m.?
Third:A guilty person could be actually innocent and when this innocent person will be executed there will be no possible way of compensating him/her for this miscarriage of justice.
Fourth: No one has the right to take a life no matter whether he/she will just kills someone illegally or gives a legal death sentence.
Conclusion The death penalty is an action which must not be practiced because it has many negative effects and not only the guilty person but the other people could suffer from it. It is an action which does not help people to realize their faults.
