2. AboutISFT International Society of Fashion Technology is an eidolon emerged out of “Passion for Fashion”. It is a dream of millions, pursued by thousands and procured by a handful. With a vision to develop the industry, ISFT was established in the year 2003. Thousands of students have passed out since 15* years and reached the zenith of their potential. Today, 3 branches are working towards betterment of the students who are putting their best to keep trending and hap the world. ISFT provides the element of feel to the students that keep their motivation and knowledge growth alive in all different aspects of Fashion, Jewellery and Interior designing. To stand as a strong fashion trophy, this institution offers hi-tech courses for this highly competitive environment. This is the platform that will take you to leave your signature mark in the fashion society, and fly with wings spread independent and extraordinary.

Mentors FOUNDER - SuvidhaPatil, Fashion Designer Enthralled by her new found independence and her own fulfilling experience as a Fashion Designer, her lion heart longed to share this empowerment with others. Over the last decade and a half, she has empowered thousands through her vibrant and versatile journey of learning created by her, fondly known as SFT ( Society Of Fashion Technology) by the alumni today. From Fashion, Jewelry & Space Design, her salon of great mentors and visiting veterans, evolved into an academy that mentors students on varied subjects of creative expression such as performing arts and runs cross-cultural grooming programs curated into an exemplary curriculum designed to create professionals ready to flourish in a technology-driven universe. It is under her watchful eye, that SFT has grown through it’s life-cycles while maintaining operational integrity as they grew under her sincere and skilful watch. Evolving and updating the pedagogy, technology and curriculum with an experiential journey of learning beginning from the creative thought process traversing through art to craft.  She created a technology-aided multi-dimensional learning environment that enables minds to transform ideas into products experientially. MANAGING DIRECTOR - JyotiThakur, Fashion Designer & MBA Ms. Jyoti Thakur is instrumental in the growth and expansion of the institute. As a MD, she has constantly been a pillar of support. The foundation found its strong base with her vision and sincerity. She infuses enthusiasm in the entire team, boosting their morale and motivating them to perform better . Together they both have put ISFT on the path of success from a single branch to 3 branches in Mumbai and with a plan of coming up with 4 new branches across Mumbai by 2017. They are also working on signing franchise contracts across India .

4. About AVASSA 2016 Avassa – Being Independent is ISFT’s fashion pageant unveiling the extraordinary talents of our designer students. It conceptualizes and promotes the practical showcase of apparels and accessories created by fashion learners and wanderers. On Annual Special Day, fashion seekers and hardcore art lovers of this world will gain a platform to watch our student’s art in fashion shows and exhibitions. It also lends out students a stage to proffer their theoretical knowledge as a practical performance. This event will create fashion geniuses out of amateur designers by giving them right exposure to trade, building the feel of powerful confidence and self-composure to stand within the industry as own. It is also the final stepping stone for aspiring talents of our institute as they embark on their professional journey to the fashion world. Last year, Avassa was a major turning point to ISFT after it embarked its journey in 2003 as it is going a long way to kiss the milestone of success. This year too, the highlight of the event is the multi-styled theme on the ramp. There was also an exhibition cum sale of student’s creation.

Armistice bringing back awareness of peace & espouse the regime of living based on flags of different countries suffering from trauma and conflicts. Two States uniting one state with the other, this theme merges cultural ethnicity and expresses the beauty of unity in diversity. Hoody Goes Desi blending a little of west life into our traditional culture welcoming digital prints with open arms with its audacious colourful popping designs on the ramp setting it on fire! Revamp Recreating newer trends using waste material, The AvanteGarde Collection. *In all , 100 plus garments beautifully crafted by the students of ISFT college. *Exhibition cum sale after the show at AD art gallery, Lokhandwala, Andheri.

27. 12 cool trendy themes on the Runway with 6 creatively crafted garments in each theme. • Special round of collection of  garment line launched by our very own Alumni. • Stunning showstopper models, AlesiaRaut and team of professional and models from famous beauty pageants with National and International fashion show fame. • A Beautiful crowd of spectators from fields of fashion, jewellery and interior designing.  • A target audience of major Designers, traders, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers from the designing industry who will be instrumental in campus. • The presence of some renowned fashion icons and celebrities to add glamour and zeal. • A motivating audience of friends and relatives of all the participants of the show to boost their morale and encourage them to give their best . • Professional PR company hired to take care of publicity of the event in reputed newspaper for press releases, outdoor media and social media. • A jury round to be held before the main event to judge the students work by Industry professionals. • Special photography and videography of the students self designed garments with professional models before the main event along with coverage on the event day.  • An exhibition cum sale of the showcased garments to be held after the event to motivate the students and reward them for the efforts taken; at a renowned Art gallery in the city.
