  3. TOPIC FOOD: FRUIT AND VEGETABLES (seasonal products) In this unit, learners will recognize which fruits and vegetables are produced when in the year. They will also learn that it is important to eat fruit and vegetables in a healthy diet. Back to Overview

Communication Learners will: learn the names of different fruits and vegetables. learn the names of colours, the months and the seasons and the parts of one type of fruit: the apple. be able to understand language by using TPR (Total Physical Response - for young learners it is important also to have no verbal communication, but only understanding).
