Tier I: Supervisor of Civilians Course web-based training - 40 hours • Why use web-based training? • Large, dispersed target population of supervisors – approximately 1,600-1,900 across agency • Can take training at own work station, where and when needed • Characteristics of objectives and content compatible with online delivery C² Proprietary
Tier I: Supervisor of Civilians Course web-based training - 40 hours, cont. • Why use web-based training? • Relative ease of updates – loaded to central server for automatic distribution • CG’s Learning Management System (LMS) tracks student completion and test results • Cost precludes instructor-led training for large population C² Proprietary
Tier II: Supervisor of Civilians Course instructor-led training - 32 hours • Why use instructor-led training? • Some objectives/content are best taught via instructor-led training due to necessity for instructor-student interaction and feedback • Smaller population of students (only first-line supervisors who have completed the Tier I course) • Provides opportunity for student-student interaction and sharing of ideas/information C² Proprietary
