Why did you come forward today? • As much as possible, try to ask open-ended questions. • No matter why the child came forward, make this experience a positive one!
Have you ever done this before? • We want the children to understand eternal security. (Once a person is truly saved they are always saved.) • Once again, make this a positive experience.
“Yes”. . .Tell me what you did back then? • This is an open-ended question, it will allow the child to tell you exactly what they did. • This is better than asking, “Have you been saved before?” They could say, “Yes.” And you won’t know what they believe.

Admit you are a sinner A Believe that Jesus Died, was buried and rose again for you B Call Upon Jesus to Save you c
Call Upon Jesus to Save you c • Try to get the child to pray their own prayer to God. You’re not done yet!! • Deal with the child about eternal security.
