  3. Common Policy Topics (1/4) • IPv4 Depletion • APNIC: entered Stage Three of IPv4 address block exhaustion. • ARIN: set aside /10 (NRPM 4.10).

  4. Common Policy Topics (2/4) • IPv4 Depletion • AfriNIC: a new version of the Soft Landing Policy reached consensus at AfriNIC 14 with new version; ended Last Call • LACNIC: LAC-2011-04: makes mandatory to applicants that do not hold IPv6 to request it when in exhaustion to receive IPv4; LAC-2011-06 reserves a /12 for gradual exhaustion of IPv4 resources. Both in Last Call until 5 December.

  5. Common Policy Topics (3/4) • IP Resources Transfer • AfriNIC: two proposals on transfer outside the AfriNIC region were withdrawn. • APNIC:“Maintaining demonstrated needs requirement in transfer policy after the final /8 phase” ended the Last Call phase.

  6. Common Policy Topics (4/4) • IP Resources Transfer • ARIN: “ARIN Inter-RIR Transfers”, more input at ARIN XXVIII; the AC sent an amended version to the community and moved it to Last Call until 16 November.
