IB&SC 2013 Highlights IEEE R10 IB&SC Section Survey – completed To work with the Sections to identify the local benefit schemes, to improve upon them if necessary, and to recommend new benefit schemes that are of interests to the members. The winners are: Singapore Section – the most innovative and excellent local benefit schemes Kerala Section – the best proposals for local benefit schemes IEEE R10 IB&SC Member Survey – completed To find out from its members the types of benefits and services that they would like to have in their Sections. The winners are: K N MADHU – Senior member, Kerala SANJAY VANZA – Member, New South Wales DAYANANDA SURATKAL – Senior Member, Bangalore MAAZ AZIZ – Student Member, Islamabad

Individual Benefits and Services Committee • Project / Task Measurable • Project 1 • Identify and recommend 3-4 proposals to be implemented by Sections • Mainly Sections effort with minimal financial support from R10 • Benefit schemes are country specific • Quality of proposals • Project 2 • Propose and implement 2-3 family/lifestyles benefits such as discounts to Singapore Science Centre, Singapore Museums, Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, Gardens by the Bay, and etc. • For local and overseas IEEE members visiting Singapore • Family members must be accompanied by IEEE members • Work with MGA MBPAC for contractual issues • Work closely with the Singapore Tourism Board • Ease of implementation Committee Structure Chair: Michael Ong Members: Darrel, Kukjin, Elmer, Om and Takako Objectives Summarize and communicate all IEEE benefits that are relevant to R10 members from surveys conducted in 2014. Call for proposals for implementation of benefit schemes by areas or countries Working with MGA MBPAC to promote and implement family/lifestyles benefits in Singapore for local and visiting members Projects / Tasks To solicit suitable proposals for Sections to roll out benefit schemes with limited financial support from R10 To work with MGA MBPAC for lifestyles/family benefits for local members and those visiting Singapore • Budget • Project 1: $800 • Project 2: $500 • Total Proposed Budget: $1300 • Timeline • Project 1: Completion by Aug 2014 • Project 2: Completion by Nov 2014
