Training / continuing education is generally associated with the human resources department, the responsibility has a senior staff member. • Enterprise Business - e.g. Audi, VW, banks, savings banks - have partially outsourced training companies in own academies. Germany has 16 states.Each state has its own continuing education law.Their content and text are not standardized.The focus of the federal education laws is • Everybody must have the chance to participate in continuing education/training • Communities and cities have to develop and support a system for continuing education/training. • In this system institutions of continuing education/adult education - must be accessible to all and need to work with all social institutions 8.
