Users can also start a brand new search using any term on the Breadcrumb Trail…
Use the slider to quickly limit results to particular date ranges

Image Quick View (IQV) • All EBSCOhost journals with native PDFs will have IQV on an ongoing basis by 2009 • Only journals with native PDFs will have this feature (i.e., scanned PDFs do not include IQV) • Initially, no separate limiter on the interface for IQV,but it is coming in 2009 • In total, EBSCOhost will provide IQV for 9,182 journals and 3,766,000+ images as of January 2009

SmartText Explained • Search any text from any article or document, including: • articles within EBSCOhost • content from other documents or websites • The system analyzes each word in the query for how unique it is • Then, a weight is applied to each word • Then, a search is initiated using those weights as relevancy controls • We are considering future enhancements to let users control those weights themselves
