  1. Teaching English in Dubai: How To Be Qualified?

  2. Slide Title • Teaching in Dubai offers a lot of advantages and perks. This is the reasons why many teachers from all around the world are getting attracted to working as an educator in the United Arabs Emirates. Here are a few reasons why teaching in Dubai is considered as an excellent career move and how you will be able to qualify for a teaching job in the city. • Teaching English in Dubai is one of the most in-demand employment opportunities available for teachers today. Every year, Dubai is looking for new sets of highly professional and well-rounded teachers from various countries who can fill in the vacancies that they have at different schools, universities, and colleges. Last academic year alone, around 20 new schools were opened in Dubai. With the opening of new schools and the booming education sector industry in the UAE, the demand for teachers also greatly increased.

  3. The Perks of Teaching in Dubai Teaching English in Dubai is a very rewarding career. It will not only help you grow as an individual and as an educator, it will also give you the opportunity to experience living a luxurious life and experience everything great that this city on the Persian Gulf offers. Because Dubai has a multicultural environment, you can meet and make friends with people from different countries. It also gives you the chance to know more about the different cultures in the world. The new experiences, greater growth opportunities, and highly competitive tax-free salary are just some of the perks teaching in Dubai offers. Some schools, universities, and colleges even offer free board and lodging, free airfare to and from your country of origin, transportation allowance, health insurance and other allowances.

  4. How to qualify for a teaching job in UAE? If you are one of those hopeful teachers who are dreaming of having greener pastures and are in search for a rewarding career and a real life adventure, you may consider moving to the United Arab Emirates as an English teacher. But, the big question is: how can you be able to teach in Dubai? In order for you to qualify for a teaching job in Dubai or in any of the other Emirates of the UAE, you will need to pass the following requirements:

  5. Slide Title • Teaching license or certificate issued by an acknowledged issuing authority. • A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in education or in a relevant field. • At least two years recent and full-time teaching experience preferably in a curriculum equivalent to the job you are applying for. For instance, if you want to teach Mathematics or perhaps you are applying for a high school teaching job, you must have enough experiences in handling such curriculum.

  6. Most of the institutions in Dubai that offer teaching jobs are looking for educators who are already highly qualified, well trained, and experienced professionals. Although there may be orientation programs, you can rarely see institutions that offer free training, and if you do, the compensation package will most likely not be that appealing. If you are still a fresh graduate or perhaps have just worked as a part-time teacher, you will have a smaller chance of getting qualified. If you have been working on a long-term supply or substitute teacher, you may be able to be taken into consideration but under some conditions. You will have to gather and submit your employment records from the institution board for you to gain credit for such an experience.
