We don’t just celebrate Valentine’s Day we worship it because we are a bunch of people who are so much in love with love that just the thought of a lovelorn occasion that celebrates such lovely feelings makes us all mesmerized and happy. That is why it takes us an entire week of festivities to embrace it wholeheartedly. Getting your pretty little dress out seems like a perfect idea. All dolled up and suited couples go out, chill at fancy restaurants & heart shaped candies, cakes, chocolates, wine, candle lit dinners are a staple. We say, why don’t we do something different this year? Instead of English treats let’s go for a desi mithai. Ditch that Little Black Dress and wear a saree or a sexy floor length suit.

2. It’s a day propagated by the west but carries out a simple message of love. Be loved, be happy, appreciate the people around you, tell them how much they mean to you, and express yourself, BUT a little differently.
