Since post-9/11 recession, VA merchandise exports have increased 75% • The 2008 value of VA merchandise exports is at its highest level in history - $18.93 billion. • From 2007-2008, VA’s merchandise exports increased 12% • Over the last decade, China has risen from our 15th ranked export destination to # 3.
