    20. Hank Jones Jan 1998 Dec 1998

Board Member Position: Communications Successful through three volunteers: Ann Carlson, Dori Blesh, and Molly Thompson Served on the Board in various positions President, Past President, VP Treasurer, VP Programs Last of the founding board members to leave the Board Worked with the Programs committee for the 2002 Texas Comp & Benefits Conference I look back on my tenure with NTCA with many fond memories (and a few uh-oh moments) and a great deal of satisfaction. I am proud and happy to have helped in whatever small way to shepherd the growth of the NTCA into the success it has become. Mr. Jones served on the board from its inception in 1993 through 1998 when he served as president. He held several positions on the board prior to that including VP of Communications, Treasury and Programs. Mr. Jones was the last of the founding board members to leave the board and then later served on the Programs committee for the 2002 Texas Comp and Benefits Conference. He contributes his success as VP of Communications to three volunteers: Ann Carlson, Dori Blesh and Milly Thompson. I would like to read a quote from Hank Jones about his time with NTCA. He says.. Mr. Jones, we would like to personally thank you for all your hard work and dedication to NTCA. We would also like to present you with this award and would like to give you an Honorary Lifetime Membership to NTCA.Mr. Jones served on the board from its inception in 1993 through 1998 when he served as president. 21. Mike Peterson 1997

Served as a Founding Board Member and President that helped shape the strategy of NTCA Instrumental in the initial structure and design of the organization Mike Peterson also served as president, we think during 1996 or 1997. We have been unsuccessful in our attempts to locate Mr. Peterson but wanted to take a moment to recognize his contributions to NTCA. We know Mike served on the board of directors from 1993 to somewhere between 1996 and 1997 and if he were here today, we would thank him for his contributions to NTCA.Mike Peterson also served as president, we think during 1996 or 1997. 22. Dick Kaslik 1996

Served as a Founding Board Member and President that helped shape the strategy of NTCA Instrumental in the initial structure and design of the organization One of my memories is going to the World@Work Conference in Orlando and realizing that the numerous speakers who had prominent roles at the conference had been guest speakers at our NTCA luncheons. It felt good to know that we were getting the best of the best to speak to our members. The president prior to Hank Jones was Dick Kaslik. Dick served during the 1996 to 1997 timeframe. Dick was a founding board member that helped shape the strategy of NTCA and was instrumental in the initial set up of the association. After several attempts, we were able to locate Dick in Apple Valley, CA. He has since moved to Victor, Colorado, where he is an HR Manager at AngloGold Ashanti (Colorado) Corp. 23. Fred Disch Jan 1995 Oct 1996

Challenges: Bringing in speakers that would generate interest in attending meetings Increase recognition and awareness of NTCA with local compensation professionals My hat is off to all the people who have taken this organization to its current level. I am fortunate to have a small part in the NTCA success. This brings us to Fred Disch. Mr. Disch served on the board from 1993 to 1996, the last two years he served as President. Some of the challenges and successes during his term were attracting interesting speakers and topics to present at membership meetings. Mr. Disch was also instrumental in increasing the awareness of NTCA. A quote from Mr. Disch And we are very fortunate to have had predecessors such as Fred Disch. 24. Mark Holman Founding Board Member

Served as a Founding Board Member that helped shape the strategy of NTCA Instrumental in the initial structure and design of the organization This brings us to Mark Holman. At the time NTCA was founded in 1993, Mr. Holman worked for Mobil Oil. We were unable to trace his steps from there and were unsuccessful in contacting him for todays meeting. However, we dont want to overlook his contributions and if he were here we would want to thank him for his dedication and commitment to NTCA.This brings us to Mark Holman. 25. Bob Dill Influential Founding Member

Helped increased awareness of NTCA in the area Generated interest in meeting attendance Helped bring in key note speakers Active and involved member of NTCA for the past 15 years The next person I want to recognize is Bob Dill. Many of you know Bob as he is still a very active member of NTCA. He was unable to be here today as hes traveling overseas. He was sad to miss this special day and Im sad hes not here as well. Although Bob was not a founding board member of NTCA, he served alongside those who were and was instrumental in the setup and design of the association. Bob has made many contributions to NTCA and is well known and respected in the Total Rewards profession, specifically in executive compensation. Bob has continued to be an active member and contributor to NTCA throughout its history. We want to honor Mr. Bob Dill with an Honorary Lifetime Membership and only wish he were here to accept it personally. Patti Bert is a colleague of Bobs and is here to accept on his behalf. The next person I want to recognize is Bob Dill. Many of you know Bob as he is still a very active member of NTCA. 26. Terese Reynolds Founding President

    27. Terese Reynolds Founding President, Jan 1994 Dec 1994

1992 Texas Chairperson for the American Compensation Association Recognized a need for an organization in the Dallas area Contacted those with potential interest to start the NTCA Gained support ACA provided contacts in the area Five founding board members became involved Local companies helped fund NTCAs start-up Designed framework of the organization Created the constitution and bylaws First Meeting Secured a top-rated keynote speaker, Marc Wallace Held at the Cooper Aerobic Center with approximately 120 attendees I am pleased to hear how well [the NTCA] is doing and that it is Celebrating 15 years as a professional organization. I believe the chapter has grown to be such a success because it met a need that was lacking in the North Texas area . . . And finally, we come to Terese Reynolds. While Terese didnt start this association without the help of the other founding board members, she was the one brave enough to serve as our very first president. She had many challenges and successes as the first president. In 1992, she served as the Texas Chairperson for the American Compensation Association. She worked hard to gain support for founding the association and getting the word out to potential members. Some of her other successes during her tenure include the creation of our first constitution and bylaws and securing top rated speakers such as Marc Wallace. The very first membership meeting had approximately 120 attendees. We were able to speak with Terese who now lives in Rhode Island. She very much wanted to be here today but previous commitments prevented it. She did share the following quote. While Mrs. Reynolds is not here to reap the benefits, she too will be granted Honorary Lifetime Membership to NTCA. And finally, we come to Terese Reynolds.
