See LexisNexis tutorial for help searching this database. ProQuest Research Library: Search periodicals on legal subjects such as business law, civil law, and more in this ProQuest Research Library Module.   11. Serials Solutions To locate a specific journal title go to the Library home page, and select “Articles & Databases” then scroll down to Serials Solutions. Here you will be able to enter in the title of the journal you are searching for. This search engine will tell you if it is available in print or electronic version, and how to access it.

Example of a Serials Solution Search If you were to search for the title “Harvard Human Rights Journal” this is what you would see for results: This shows that the articles in “Harvard Human Rights Journal” are available in LexisNexis. You would simply click on the LexisNexis link and search for you articles by keywords or terms.

  13. Searching the HELIN Catalog To find further sources of information you may also consider searching the HELIN Catalog. To do so simply go to the library homepage http://library.bryant.edu . • To search for books/journals on civil liberties select search by “Subject” and use the term “Civil Rights”. Narrower subject terms include; employee rights, equality before the law, freedom of association, freedom of information, freedom of speech, gay rights, political persecution, ‘privacy, right of”, right of property, and right to education. • To search within the Bryant Library only, change the section titled: Limit to Libraries/Campuses, from “View Entire Collection” to “Bryant University”.
