  2. Fine Arts Program rated Exemplary Breeden Elementary students participate in a variety of Fine Arts activities throughout the year, which include Ballroom Dancing, Choir Performances, and Charro Days Festivities. Daniel Breeden Elementary

  3. Wellness and Physical Education Programs rated Exemplary Breeden Elementary encourages all staff and students to participate in community running and Triathlon events. Our school was awarded the “Hydration Station” as a winning prize for meeting the pledge to drink more water with 100% participation! Daniel Breeden Elementary

Community and Parental Involvement rated Recognized Breeden has the privilege of having a strong and united parental involvement team that assisted with many activities throughout the school year. Community members also took time to meet with students and faculty about various resources available outside the school setting. Daniel Breeden Elementary

  5. 21st Century Workforce Development rated Acceptable Breeden Elementary students are college bound! This is encouraged through many activities such as “College Awareness Thursdays” and Career Day presentations scheduled each Spring semester. Daniel Breeden Elementary

Dropout Prevention Strategies rated Exemplary Staff at Breeden is well aware of the high percentage of at-risk students that we serve and we are pro-active in reaching them through the use of digital learning. Second Language Acquisition Program rated Exemplary Our campus emphasizes the importance of the program by highlighting important dates and events such as Charro Days, Cinco de Mayo and Black Heritage Month. Teachers and students fuse their creativity through art projects, parades and through many more engagements on campus. Daniel Breeden Elementary

  8. Digital Learning Environment rated Exemplary Breeden offers a fully capable Wi-Fi campus where more than 300 computers/laptops available to students and staff alike. All classrooms are equipped with the latest MIMIO technology and digital learning is a priority on campus. Daniel Breeden Elementary

  9. Gifted and Talented Program rated Exemplary Barracuda Destination Imagination At least 15% of our students served and were nominated for the GT Program during the 2013-2014 school year. Our staff is in compliance with TEA expectations of on-going training in the area of G/T.
