  2. What does TMP do? • Co-working space for individuals & organisations • Meeting Room and Events Spaces • Community Building + Networking Events • Social Innovation Incubation Award (SIIA)

  3. What is TMP looking for? • Interesting People Doing Interesting Things To Make The World A Better Place • Referrals for Meeting & Events Space Hire (centre of Edinburgh) • Start-up Social Innovators (register interest in our SIIA award for 2014)

  4. The Melting Pot's Social Innovation Incubator Award offers (FOR FREE) up to 10 social innovators the opportunity to take their organisation forward through a facilitated annual programme and support services over a 12 month period. This currently includes, but will be added to: • Workspace accommodation at The Melting Pot for one organisation, with flexible management of up to 50 hours per month available • Meeting room access • A range of dedicated business suppport services including:-ITC and everyday printing costs-Registered business address-Shared storage space-Available laptops for use whilst at The Melting Pot • A range of training, learning and mentoring opportunities including 121s, group workshops and peer learning sets in:-Finance record keeping and Companies House administration: Stanley Wynd Accountants-Personal Coaching and Action Learning Sets: Social Enterprise Academy-Legal learning workshop: MacRoberts LLP-Business development support, Evauation and Mentoring Sessions: Firstport-Branding and Marketing Strategies: Noble Ox Marketing-Organisational Development: Animate-Light Touch Mentoring: Community Enterprise-Funding Advice and Workshops: Big Lottery Scotland Please email siia@themeltingpotedinburgh.org.uk to register your interest/further information. The programme will start on Monday 1st July 2014, and last for 12 months.

  5. 2012 saw eleven start-ups welcomed to The Melting Pot as recipients of our Social Innovation Incubator Award. Representing a broad range of enterprises and ideas, each Awardee has contributed greatly to the fabric of our Award and to our community of Social Innovators throughout Edinburgh and beyond. We are delighted with each of their progress, and how our partners' contributions through practical business support have enabled each Awardee to realise their ambitions for making real change.
