CC Research Network Projects • Central Wyoming College- Serosurvey of a rural population for West Nile Virus IgG and IgM antibodies • Northwest College- A search for novel antibiotics produced by bacteria isolated from rotting wood/activity of prodigiosin from two bacterial species • Sheridan College- isolation and characterization of venom proteins from reptiles. • Univ. of Wyoming/Casper College- parasite-host coevolution in rodents/ isolation and characterization of spider silk protein genes • Western Wyoming Community College- parasite-host interactions in sagebrush lizards/ synthesis of amines using a Lewis-acid mediated approach/cardiac function in iron deficient rats • Laramie County Community College- selenium movement in trophic webs in Wyoming badlands/selenophilic plant-fungal associations
