Steps of making a video • set the goal of the video • do research (when making an educational video) • write the storyboard (piltlugu) • shoot the scenes • edit the video • present the video
Setting the goal • why are you making the video • what is the message of your video • who is your audience
Doing research • if you have to make an educational video, familiarize yourself with the subject matter • gather information on the internet • decide what to take and what to leave out
Writing the storyboard ICamera shots (võtteplaanid) • wide shot (üldplaan) • object in its environment • to set the scene
medium shot (keskplaan) – most often used • from head to waist • focuses on the subject, used for dialogues
close up (suurplaan) • enlarges one part of the subject • to show details or emotions
cut-in (detailplaan) • shows a detail of a subject • focuses on details
