At Career Management Services our Job is to… Assist Students with every step of the job search and application process, from resume and cover letter creation to the interview, to writing thank you notes. We provide the knowledge and guidance so that students can navigate the job acquisition process successfully. What do we do?

  6. We help students with: Resumes Cover Letters Interview Preparation Internship & Co-op Search Job Search Coordinating On Campus Interviews Federal Work Study In addition, we offer help through our Career Fairs and Workshops offered throughout the year. What Services do we Offer?

  7. Most Importantly… Career Management Services is a tool for you to use, but it is not a “cure-all”. You still need to do research on your own throughout the job process. Think of us as a tool, that is best used when you are working for your goals actively! How can you best use Career Management Services?

  8. You can call the office or stop by to make an appointment. Before the appointment you should… Be prepared to bring in your resume, if you do not have one, be prepared to create a draft using Optimal Resume. Sign up for Experience and submit your resume there for review so that our staff can look over it BEFORE you come in. Appointments

  9. Career Preparation Program The Career Preparation Program is a program that was designed by Career Services to give students the knowledge that they need to succeed in the job search. Requirements for Completion Register with Career Services (Experience) and print the Career Preparation Program Checklist and Description Produce a Career Management Services approved Resume & upload to Experience Attend 4 of the Career Workshops (offered regularly throughout the semester) Complete and submit an Informational Interview of a professional in the field Attend the Career Fair or Employer Day Attend a Company Information Session Complete a mock interview with a Career Advisor

  10. How can you Contact us? There are 3 ways to contact us at Career Management Services: You can stop by our office at rm 210 in the Keuper Building. You could call the office at: (321) 674-8102 Or you could use the “Contact us” tool on the website, for any general questions that you have.
