  4. ‌How long you can stay ‌ This is a temporary visa. You can stay in Australia for 5 years. The visa is granted with multiple entry. You can travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid. The visa starts on the date visa granted.

  5. ‌Stay Longer You can't stay longer in Australia with 461 Visa after your visa expires. You can apply for another New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship Visa (subclass 461) if you are still a members of the family unit or you hold a subclass 461 visa or it was the last substantive visa you held.

  6. ‌Apply From ‌ You can be in or outside Australia when you apply for the visa but not in immigration clearance. If you apply for visa 461 in Australia, you must be in Australia when visa application finalize. If you apply outside Australia, you must be outside Australia when your visa application finalize.

  7. ‌Processing Times ‌75% of the applications in 26 months and 90% of applications in 27 months.
