Graduation Requirements • 4 Years of English • 3 Years of High School Math • 3 Years of Science • 3 Years of History • 1 Year of Art • 1 Year of Music • 2 Years of the same Language • 2 Years of Phys Ed/JROTC • 5 Years of Elective Credits
7th Grade Students • Algebra • Survey Literature • Biology • World Geography • World Language II (Chinese or Arabic) • 8th Grade PE • Elective: Art, Experiences In Music
8th Grade Students • Geometry • American Literature • Honors Human Geography or AP Human Geography • Chemistry • World Language III (Chinese or Arabic) – Not required but recommended • PE/Health I or JROTC I • Elective: Art, Music, Exploring Computer Science, Upper Level Fine Arts • CTE Programs – Pre-Engineering & Information Technology
Career & Technical Education (CTE)Pre-Engineering • Affinity for math & science? • Enjoy being challenged with projects that test technical skills? • Like working hands-on with state-of-the-art technology?
Then Pre-Engineering is for you… • Classes expose students to all areas of engineering industry. • Possible college credit (senior year) & internships. • 3 - 4 Year Course of Study • One class per year
Career & Technical Education (CTE)Information Technology – Game Design – Begins Sophomore Year • Enjoy working with the newest technology? • Like designing web applications? • Want to learn to create video games?
Then Information Technology is for you…. • Students will explore the essentials of game design and application of development. • Become certified in Adobe Flash & Certified Coding Standards. • 3 Year Program of Study beginning sophomore year • Potential College Credit & Internships.

English • Honors English II (World Literature) • If you are taking American Lit, then enroll in Language and Composition or AP Language & Composition
History Honors World History Or AP World History
Science Chemistry If you have already completed Chemistry, enroll in Physics
MATH Enroll in Geometry Unless you are currently taking Geometry, then enroll in Advanced Algebra w/ Trig
WORLD LANGUAGE Enroll in the 2nd year language of what you are currently taking • Chinese II or • Arabic II
Note:At the end of the year, if you receive a failing grade in World Language, you will be placed back in language 1!If you fail math and do not take credit recovery, you will be placed back in the same math course.
Physical Education • PE II • ROTC II Or, if you are joining ROTC as a sophomore, enroll in ROTC I
Fine Arts • Art I • Experiences in Music

World Language If you have completed two years of the same language, you may: • Continue to Language III THE COUNSELORS STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CONTINUE YOUR LANGUAGE
