  2. Early Life Birth; August 17, 1786. Place of birth; Davy was born in East Tennessee. Siblings; Davy Crockett was the fifth of nine children.

  6. Death • When and where did he die: 1836 at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas

  7. Final Years • David "Davy" Crockett was a frontiersman, politician and folk hero from Tennessee who joined Texas forces in 1836 and was killed in battle at the Alamo.
