  1. Closing of Dpora& Cdsl

  2. Dpora and Cdsl Closing NOTE: Trial balance should be tallied before closing. • Step1: Check free Disk space on Drive where Oracle is Installed. Free space must be approx. twice of Current Database Size. • Step2: Check for any pending amount .If found any dues then consult account department. • Step3: Ask the client to send request for closing. For it, follow the following steps: • Open any report in click on download qrp button and open Closing Request

  3. Following window will open .Fill all details and send request Enter Contact person name Enter Mobile no/ Ph. no Enter Email Address Click on Submit. Following message will display. Click on OK.

  4. Step4: After sending request, a DCR will be created automatically(if all details are valid ). Now, FA Closing is allowed for that database.

  5. Step5: Take Backup Running Database. • Update new version of Cdsl20 from website and Login Cdsl20.exe. • Select Utilities>>System Utilites>> Database Backup.   Database Backup.

  6. A Following window will open: 2. Enter file name as database name with current date (e.g. Comdata). 1. Select Drive. 3.Click on start to take backup.

  7. Data is exported here.

  8. After exporting data there will be open a log file by which check the status of data exporting.

  9. Step6: Create New Database For New Financial Year. • Follow the following steps to create database : • Go to start • Select Program • Select Oracle-OraHome92 • Select Configuration and Migration Tool • Select Database Configuration Assistant

  10. Following window will open. Click on Next.

  11. Select create a database. Click on Next.

  12. Select General purpose. Click on Next.

  13. Enter Database name. Click on Next. * In Case Of Dpora New database name should be Current Year name as e.g. DP1516

  14. Select Share Server Mode. Click on Finish.

  15. Click on Ok.

  16. Database Creation in Progress.

  17. Enter password in each field (e.g. s). It is mandatory. Click on Exit .

  18. Step7: Edit Sql.ini File In program Folder And Find [oragtwy] Block. • Add New Line:- Remotedbname=CDSL1516,@CDSL1516

  19. Step8: Tune New Database from new licclient.exe. Select Oracle Version Enter password (Password must be same as of Oracle database creation while installing oracle ) Enter Database Name Browse backup datafile (i.e. cdsl1415 backup which was taken earlier before) Click on this button.

  20. Do not close this window because data is imported here

  21. After importing data there will be open a log file by which check the status of data importing

  22. Database Tuning is successfully completed.

  23. Step9: Update new uticlap60.exe from website and Run From CDSL20 Folder .

  24. Enter database name (e.g. Cdsl1415). Click on Connect.

  25. Step10: Then go to DP-Nsdl/Cdsl-Closing-2 option under FA Closing Menu.

  26. Choose Closing Segment-- Cdsl. • This Process will take time Depend on Database size. Closing will be completed after successful Message.   5. Enter the Password (i.e. metro) and Proceed. Click Proceed Button.

  27. Current year(Cdsl1516) and last year(Cdsl1415) database successfully connected for closing .

  28. Click on ok and exit for start closing of current .

  29. Current year closing Will Be Completed After Successful Message. • Click on ok. And wait for next message.  

  30. Click on yes for run last year closing.  

  31. This is time consuming process and take time as per data size or system performance, Closing Will Be Completed After Successful Message.   Click on OK.

  32. Run Licclient.Exe and test I-NET Connection. Message Should be Successful.  • Click on Product Activation & License New Database after closing.  Select Database Restored/Fin.Closing. Select Product Type. Enter New database name. Enter database Id given by license department. Click on Get Activation . Following message will display.

  33. Take backup Of Cdls1415 after closing done. 2. Enter file name as database name with current date (e.g. Cdsl1415) 1. Select Drive. 3.Click on start to take backup

  34. Now Backup is starting i.e. data is exporting here.

  35. After exporting data there will be open a log file by which check the status of data exporting.

  36. Backup successfully done of Cdsl1415(Last Year).

  37. Take backup Of Cdsl1516(Current Year) . 2. Enter file name as database name with current date (e.g. Cdsl1516) 1. Select Drive. 3.Click on start to take backup

  38. Now Backup is starting i.e. data is exporting here.

  39. After exporting data there will be open a log file by which check the status of data exporting.

  40. Backup successfully done of Cdsl1516(Current Year).

  41. Dpora & Cdsl Closing successfully done.
