Coaches’Roles and Responsibilities District-level (external) or School-based (internal) person Education specialist, school psychologist, social worker, behavior specialist, etc. Should not be a classroom teacher Their position provides them the freedom to move across schools Has the skills necessary to effectively facilitate teams throughout the process Attends training with their respective school-based teams and yearly Coaches’ Training Reports to the District Coordinator/attends monthly meetings Collects Mid-Year and End-Year Reports

Funding • What funds has the school used to support PBS (e.g. SIP, PTA, fund raisers)? • What have the funds been used for?
Visibility • What strategies has your school used to make PBS visible to: • Parents? • Community? • What are your suggestions for making PBS more visible within the district?
Political Support • Are discipline, climate, and/or attendance one of the school’s SIP goals? • What political support could the district provide to help you: • as a Coach? • Increase participation at the school? • Who should provide this school support?
