The MBA Curriculum • MBA BASIC COURSES: 9-24 SH depending upon advanced standing • Managerial Decision Making (9 sh) • Functional Core (15 sh) • MBA ADVANCED COURSES: 24 SH • Managing the Business Environment (9 sh) • Concentration(s) & Electives (12 sh*) • Capstone: Advanced Strategic Management (3 sh**) *double concentration option (18 sh) ** note: curriculum will change as of Fall 2009!

Prerequisites & Advanced Standing • college-level calculus course –what if I don’t have this? • Advanced Standing (waiver) guidelines • Up to 5 Basic MBA courses (15 sh) may be waived, based on prior course work • Life experience credit is not available • Substitute Elective option in Advanced MBA courses

  7. Application & Admissions - I • MBA Requirements • transcripts (or WESevaluation) • GMAT (gmat.org)… • International student? TOEFL scores - & ESOL • personal statement & current resumé • letters of recommendation • weighing the GMAT score…GPA x 200 + GMAT = 1100-1200

  8. Application & Admissions - II • Applications go to Graduate Admissions(not the MBA Office) • Online applicationis preferred • Rolling admissions process (portfolio approach) • Deadlines? NO! But… • Financial aid & graduate assistantships
