  4. Winter • Winter is the coldest season of the year • People wear sweaters, coats, and pants • Some animals hibernate and some trees lose their leaves

  5. Spring • Spring is the season after Winter • Flowers bloom and birds lay eggs • The temperature becomes warmer • People can wear cooler clothes

  6. Summer • Summer is the season after Spring • It is the hottest season of the year • People wear shorts, sandals, and swimsuits

  7. Fall • Fall is the season after Summer • Leaves begin to change colors • The temperature is cooler than Summer • People wear pants and long-sleeved shirts
