GENERAL INFORMATION • Deadline Dates • Trainer Candidate Applications: March 4 2013, Monday • Registration Deadline: See Schedule • Late Fee: $50 late fee after registration deadline, if availability • Refunds: 100% refunded prior to March 25, 50% refund after March 26 • No Shows: No refunds given. • Locations: • YMCA Training Center: 1905 N. Florida Ave, Tampa (813) 8224-9622 • Association Office: 110 E Oak Ave, Tampa (813) 224-9622 • Meals: • Lunch will be provided as indicated in the final instructions. Snacks will be provided • Hotel Information: Enclosed • Pre-requisites: • All required pre-requisites must be brought to trainer on the first day of class. GENERAL INFORMATION • Financial Assistance: (available for full time YMCA staff) • Apply on-line! http://grants.ymca.net • Trainer Candidate Requirements: • 3 Required Courses to be considered for Trainer Candidate: • On-Line Orientation to the YMCA Training System (www.ymcaexchange.org, my account) • On-Line Adult Learning Concepts (www.ymcaexchange.org, my account) • Facilitation Skills: can be taken prior to course at Regional Training • Trainer Candidate Application completion – www.tampaymca.org, YMCA Careers, Training Opportunities • Course Quest Information: • Looking for a particular course? www.ymcaexchange.org (user name: ymca, pass code: 9622), My Account, Course Quest • Text Books: • Please make certain you have all of the required textbooks as listed per class.
