  1. Every year that passes by on the high street is an accomplishment in its own right. Jewellers have similar but also differing trials and tribulations to many independent shops. As always, Jacobs never fails to fascinate us. The 70th-anniversary year-long celebration continues to be packed with events and fundraising initiatives to keep customers on their toes. After a successful ‘Jacobs Jumpers’ skydive held last May, this Pride of Reading jeweller will feature future-inspired jewellery for its 70th-anniversary design in June.
