Thinking Like a Scientist pg 5 • Most of us use scientific thinking on a daily basis to problem-solve and to figure things out. • Scientific thought involves . . . • Observation – using the senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste) • Inference – interpretation based on your observation and prior knowledge
