India – Geographical Features • Himalayas to the north and just below it are the northern plains. • To the west lies the Thar Desert. • The Deccan Plateau is in the southern peninsula. • The western Ghats is thickly covered with forests.
Developed Cities of India • Delhi is the Capital of India. • Mumbai: The highest populated City. • Kolkata and Chennai: Highly Developed Cities • Bangalore: Known as the IT capital of India • Other Developing Cities include : Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Chandigarh, etc
