Wayne County Combined General Health District Governance: • Board of Health is appointed/Confirmed by District Advisory Council. This body is composed of president of the board of county commissioners, the chief executive of each municipal corporation not constituting a city health district, and the president of the board of township trustees of each townshipand others as specified by contracts with participating cities.
