  3. Instructions for finding Occupation Information • Test: MBTI • EUREKA

  4. MBTI for finding your personality type There are 70questions that you will take, and they will give you 4 alphabets to show your result.

  5. Example1 ・ In your social group, do you… A: keep abreast of other’s happenings? B: get behind on the new? ・ Are you more comfortable in making… A: logical judgment? B: value judgment?

  6. Example2 ・ When the phone rings, do you… A: hasten to get it eat first? B: hope someone else will answer? ・ Do you go more by… A: facts B: principles

  9. What is EUREKA? EUREKA is a computer program which gives you some useful information such as general information of job, required abilities, school which is offered, payment, and education etc..

EUREKA A • Double click on Eureka icon. • Enter your name, click on continue. • Click on occupations (CENTER). • Click on browse data base. • Click on Local Information box (near middle of screen) a. When map pops up, click on red area. b. Click on continue. 6. Look up your occupation- double click on it to open. When the occupation opens up, check box that says check all (lower right hand of screen).

EUREKA B • Within your occupation information (meaning hiving an occupation open), scroll down to the Educational Programs area. • Click on subject (highlighted in blue). • Click on regional information box located center of page, near the bottom. • Click on County (the one that applies). • Click on education boxes (upper R/H corner). You can check on the ones that apply of check them all. • Click on continue. • Now you can review the education information. As you read, scroll down to see college information, programs, and what each college offers education wise.

  13. Q2, Through you make sure which personality type you are, you can find the best job which goes well with you. That means you can be successful in your whole life. Even if a job which you choose for the first time doesn’t go well, you can find another job which is showed by EUREKA. That’s going to be your career.
