  4. What is Made in Manufacturing? • Anything that you touch is manufactured! • Aerospace Parts • Defense Parts • Medical Devices • Automotive Parts • Computer Parts

  5. Aerospace Manufacturing • Design and construct aircraft including planes, jets, helicopters, gliders, missiles and spacecraft. • Research, develop and test new materials, engines and structures.

  6. Defense Manufacturing • This type of manufacturing is critical to the support of our military. • Critical to the security of the USA.

  7. Medical Devices • Research and design ways to improve health care and medical services. • Develop and oversee the operation of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. • Design equipment to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

  8. Automotive Parts • Used in engines, transmissions and other critical systems. • Supports our critical transportation sector.
