  3. 1 Corinthians 1:18 • The hope of overcoming sin rests on our ability to be “cut to the heart” by the cross message…. -Christ suffered and died because of your sin!

  4. Isaiah 52:13 to 53:12 • It was God’s will that he should suffer, not some tragic mistake. “Why would God WANTJesus to suffer?”

  5. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 The Good News “gospel message” is the great announcement that Jesus not only died, but was also resurrected from the dead!!!

  6. 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 • Jesus serves as a “first fruits” offering, his resurrection is the first of many to come! • This is His Hope…our resurrection.

  7. 1 Corinthians 15:42-50 • In the resurrection we will receive transformed and imperishable bodies, no longer prone to the temptations of the flesh.

  8. 1 Corinthians 15:54-58 • When we enter into Christ our hope is that we defeat even death! • Our lives should reflect this great hope in the way we live now, without fear, with no need to chase after security and wealth… “Evil is powerless if the saved are unafraid!”

  9. If you truly have the Hope of forgiveness and resurrection… How will you live?
