Living species • The living species of Bison is shorter and has smaller bones and horns than its ancestor Bison antiquus. • The common names are American bison, American Buffalo, and the scientific name Bison bison.

What was found most • Bison teeth were the most common find at the Millennium park site. All bison have 32 teeth, with only size differences between the species Bison antiquus teeth
