TEAM ORGANIZATION & MANAGEMENT Team Size & Member Roles (Table of Contents) • Have FUN; Guided learning; interactive; innovation; standards…BUT if it is not fun…the students (and the adults won’t come back!) • Everyone participates; There is a role for everyone; teams need to share the work • 2 to 4 players per team; The highest grade level determines the division (i.e., one 6th grader on the team? Then it is a Middle school team)

TEAM ORGANIZATION & MANAGEMENT Team Rules & Norms (Table of Contents) Establish rules for how teams will manage themselves re: conflict, equipment management, member communications, division of duties, or excessive absences Contracts re: for cost of equipment and who pays for breakage; being committed to attend the day of the event Using kits? Don’t SHARE parts! Process needed to: replace parts; replace team members
