Project Progress The below chart represents completion of the 10 required modules throughout the university as of Dec 1st
The University of Georgia Endpoint Security Evaluation
Project Overview • The UGA Office of Information Security, in support of our Endpoint Security Service, is in search of an Endpoint Security Product that will help us discover and protect against viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, root kits, and other forms of malware on UGA IT assets, and make said product available to all UGA IT assets. We currently offer F-Secure as such, but many units have expressed dismay in the lack of product features and performance. • Initially the focus will be on protecting the approximately 41,000 devices that currently are managed by our existing endpoint solution. In addition, we would like for this tool to be accepted by those units who presently use a product other than our recommended product. / 8
